DR. LINDSAY WEINBERG
o Dr Lindsay Weinberg holds a doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine (2012) and is a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical College Knoxville, TN (2017). Lindsay has been practicing physical therapy for ten years. Her primary area of focus is orthopedics. She has clinical experience in acute/subacute care, skilled nursing, aquatic therapy and hippotherapy. She earned her orthopedic clinical board specialist certification in 2020.
o Dr Lindsay grew up in Del Mar, California where she developed her love for horses young and grew up riding and showing Arabian horses. Now she primarily competes in hunter/jumpers. Prior to graduate school, she was a leading sales associate and buyer for Mary’s Tack and Feed where she was the purchaser for the equine feed, nutrition and healthcare supply department. After ten years in equine retail she attended graduate school to earn her doctorate in physical therapy.
o As an equestrian herself, she understands the physical demands riding and competing places on the horses and riders’ bodies. She develops specific plans to meet the horse and rider where they are and allow them to successfully achieve their goals together. Lindsay is passionate about ethical horse care and practice, treating the whole person/animal, nutrition, wellness, prevention and fitness. Dr Lindsay is an active equestrian competing on the Montana Hunter Jumper Circuit with her warmblood Lola and is a horse mom to two other rescue mares, Khloe and Penelope.
